This goat caught my attention immediately, his gaze meeting mine while he continued calmly with his meal. Goats are remarkably intelligent—curious, resourceful, and quick to learn—and there’s a spark of awareness here that feels unmistakably personal. He knows he’s being seen, and he doesn’t seem the least bit bothered by it.

I love the balance in this moment: a touch of humour in the leaf held between his teeth, paired with a steady, self-possessed presence. It feels like an introduction rather than a performance, as though he’s allowing me briefly into his world without giving anything up.

  • All prints are individually produced to order by a master printer under my supervision using Epson archival pigment inks on museum-grade 300 gsm fine art paper by Hahnemuhle for exceptional longevity and richness.

    The size indicated is the image dimensions. They are printed with an additional 1” border all around. So, for example, a 12” x 18” print will be on 14” x 20” paper.

    All prints are sold unframed. They are hand-signed, numbered, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
