Two maples in full Autumn colour, backlit by the last light of the day. I've driven past these trees a hundred times, but on this particular evening the light stopped me. One tree all copper and orange, the other turning red, with the sky behind them glowing.

Sometimes a landscape earns its title — these trees were on fire, and I had about ten minutes to catch it.

  • All prints are individually produced to order by a master printer under my supervision using Epson archival pigment inks on museum-grade 300 gsm fine art paper by Hahnemuhle for exceptional longevity and richness.

    The size indicated is the image dimensions. They are printed with an additional 1” border all around. So, for example, a 12” x 18” print will be on 14” x 20” paper.

    All prints are sold unframed. They are hand-signed, numbered, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
